The limits that decide it

Thousand Trails: Maximum 14 consecutive nights per stay, and after more than four consecutive nights you wait seven nights before staying again anywhere in the network. That cap, not the price, sets how many nights you can actually use.

Good Sam Club: Elite Overnight Stays are a single night per location. Good Sam does not publish a night cap on the campground discount itself.

A break-even night you cannot reach because of a night cap is not a break-even night.
